"No Exit" był pierwszym studyjnym albumem Blondie od 17 lat i został wydany w lutym 1999 roku po "The Hunter" (1982). Album zawiera brytyjski hit numer jeden "Maria", a także "Nothing Is Real But The Girl" i "No Exit".
Oryginalne wydanie zostało nagrane w Electric Lady Studios, Red Night Recording i Chung King House of Metal w Nowym Jorku i zawierało 14 utworów. Późniejsze wersje CD i kasetowe zawierały dodatkowy materiał z występu Blondie w Lyceum w 1998 roku oraz dodatkowy utwór "Hot Shot".
Reedycja z 2025 roku zawiera wszystkie oryginalne utwory w zremasterowanej formie, a także wybór rzadkich i wcześniej niepublikowanych bonusowych miksów.
